Applications are invited from well-published writers of distinction, in Irish or English and in any genre, for the above part-time post, jointly funded by the Arts Council and UCC, at a salary of €20,000.

The appointee will advise and mentor emerging writers in the UCC community, offering six contact hours per week in the form of writing workshops and consultations during university terms. S/he will give two public readings/lectures, as appropriate, and in university vacations will enjoy uninterrupted time to advance his/her own projects.
