Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity

Statement on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity of the International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures

As an organization defined, in its very nature, by diverse perspectives and global reach, the International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures (IASIL) is committed to providing space where members of our community meet and discuss their research in a climate of diversity, inclusivity, and respect. Both at our conferences and in any related IASIL activities, we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity of race, class, ethnicity, faith, gender, gender expression and identity, sexual orientation, age, and physical ability. IASIL expects all members and participants in our events to adhere to the principles to which we commit ourselves here, so that, communally, we can foster and maintain the welcoming and respectful environment that all of our members deserve.
