You are invited to the online launch of the ‘Irish Studies Review’ special issue on “Race, Ethnicity, and Representation in Irish Children’s and Young Adult Literature and Culture”, published in association with the Irish Society for the Study of Children’s Literature (ISSCL).
The launch will take place at 3pm Friday 6th June on Zoom where we will have a roundtable discussion with the co-editors – Dr Patricia Kennon and Dr Siobhán Morrissey – and contributors, to discuss the representation of race, ethnicity, and Irishness in Irish picturebooks, YA fiction, film, and Irish-language literature for young people.
The “Introduction” of the special issue is available open-access via https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/cisr20,
You can register for the event on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/irish-studies-review-special-issue-launch-tickets-1377335279899?aff=oddtdtcreator.
