As the list shows, none of the positions for which we have received nominations have been contested – i.e. no more than one nomination has been received per position. Under the applicable regulations, it will not be necessary to hold a ballot, and these nominations will be validated at the forthcoming AGM in Galway.
As regards those few positions as Representative for which no nominations have been received, current regulations and long-standing practice at IASIL also stipulate that the Executive will endeavour in the coming months to fill them by co-option, again to be ratified at the Annual General Meeting of IASIL.
Allow me a brief note to say that it was a genuine pleasure to serve my final term as Returning Officer, and cooperate with all who took part in this process.
Looking forward to seeing you all (or as many of you as possible) in Galway this July,
With best wishes,
Rui
