NEW PUBLICATION: Irish University Review issue 54: 2

The newest issue of the Irish University Review (November 2024) contains a range of articles on writers like Harry Clifton, Emily Lawless, Paul Muldoon, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, Adiba Jaigirdar, and Seamus Heaney, alongside topics like repetition and truth-telling in Irish monologic theatre, the depiction of parental grief in contemporary Irish poetry of child death, the representation of sexuality and religion in contemporary Irish Young Adult fiction, and so much more.

This issue also publishes contributions from IASIL’s Postgraduate and Early Career Researcher Roundtable: Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Irish Studies, with an introduction by Rosanne Gallenne and concluding remarks by Deirdre Flynn, which frame pieces on the inclusion of Trans and gender non-conforming scholars in Irish studies, re-imaginations of contemporary Irish writing, and helping to voice the unvoiced in the field – amongst many more!
