Online Launch Event: “Narrative 4” – author Colum McCann, Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan in conversation about Apeirogon; McCann’s latest Novel

Dear Irish Studies Colleagues and Friends,

I want to make you aware of a wonderful free event you can participate in virtually next week.

You may have heard of Colum McCann’s most recent novel Apeirogon because it has been getting lots of press.
Set in Israel & Palestine, based on real characters from across the divide who suffer loss but come together to promote understanding and peace, it is a remarkable work, told in short bursts that make the whole all the more lively and real.

I have been asked to let you know about an incredible free opportunity coming up next week to engage virtually.  We hope you can join us.  Virtual connections are what we have right now, but those connections also open up opportunities to us in ways we could not have anticipated a few months ago

Narrative 4 is pleased to launch a Summer of Impact with Apeirogon on Wednesday, July 15th at 12 noon EST:
an event designed to highlight the mission and work of Narrative 4 through great literature.

New York Times best-selling author and N4 co-founder, Colum McCann, will be joined in conversation with Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan, who are the two main, real life characters in McCann’s new novel, Apeirogon.

The event will be moderated by N4 student ambassadors Malak Lahham from Nazareth, Israel, and Sinead O’Reilly from Wexford, Ireland. World renowned violinist, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, will make a special appearance and perform music he wrote and recorded based on the novel’s themes.
