All keynote, plenary and panel sessions will be held in the conference hotel. The deadline for booking at the conference reduced rate is March 10, 2020.
The theme of this conference is Borders, Borderlands and Bridges, pertinent 100 years after the 1920 Government of Ireland Act, which set forth legislation for partitioning the island of Ireland. Contemporary global discourse on borders and bridges adds further significance to the theme.
The conference committee welcomes paper, panel and roundtable proposals that address any aspect of Irish Studies, including literary, historical, political, socio-economic, cultural and visual arts. Possible topics include:
