Online Exhibition: The Journey of The Playboy

This month marks the 110th anniversary of the premiere of J.M. Synge’s Playboy of the Western World. To celebrate this event, TCD School of English, in conjunction with TCD Library and the Google Cultural Institute, are launching ‘The Journey of the Playboy‘, an online exhibition exploring the development and realisation of Synge’s most famous play in the TCD Long Room Hub on Wednesday 18 January at 6.30 pm.

The exhibition will be launched by Professor Margaret Kelleher, features readings from Synge’s unpublished manuscripts and will be followed by a wine reception.
