The Art of Tom Mac Intyre

The editor is seeking contributions for a volume of essays on the art of Tom Mac Intyre.

Mac Intyre is best known as a playwright. His experimental work in the Abbey in the 1980s marked a turning point in twentieth century Irish theatre. But he has also written numerous collections of poetry and experimental fiction. The editor is interested in articles that explore Mac Intyre’s aesthetics in his theatre, poetry or fiction that contextualises the author’s standing in the Irish literary canon.
