Introducing Digital Platform for Contemporary Irish Writing

The Digital Platform for Contemporary Irish Writing, now live at http://www.contemporaryirishwriting.ie, is a new electronic resource created by the School of English, Drama and Film and University College Dublin.

The pilot project for the Digital Platform is 50 Irish Books, providing resources for a selection of 50 books published by Irish writers between 2009 and 2013. The aim of the project is to enable readers to discover the diversity and vitality of contemporary Irish writing, to share in the dynamism of contemporary conversations about literature (through links to reviews, interviews, etc) and to introduce this new generation of works to a global audience of readers.

The site has been developed by Professor Margaret Kelleher, Chair of Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama, UCD, and her project team. Bainigí sult as!
