Cyprus and Ireland: Interactions and Parallel Journeys

The Cyprus Centre, in collaboration with the Irish Studies Centre of London Metropolitan University, would like to announce Cyprus and Ireland: Interactions and Parallel Journeys.

This half-day seminar will examine the interactions, similarities and commonalities between the Irish and Cypriot communities in Britain particularly in regards to history and culture.

It will consist of a round-table discussion in which speakers will present brief papers of 10 minute duration to an audience of community representatives, academics and members of the public.

Cyprus and Ireland: Interactions and Parallel Journeys is part of Cyprus Week, which includes a related set of seminars entitled British-Cypriot Interactions and Women of Cyprus and Women for Cyprus.

Admission to this event is free but registration is essential.
