The Dead App media coverage

Our webdesign team, Vermillion, recently worked with UCD Humanities Institute to create a new app celebrating the centenary of James Joyce’s The Dead, the closing story of Dubliners.

It received wonderful coverage across all media, and particular emphasis was placed on how it enabled users to interact and learn about the book in a fresh and innovative way. It also drew in new audiences who could access the academic and archived material contained in the app.

The app, James Joyce-The Dead, is available to download free of charge from the App Store. There have already been over 4,500 downloads, which is quite impressive considering it only went live last week.

Here is some of the media coverage.
