Journal of Franco-Irish Studies: 3rd issue now live

Chers collègues,

I am very happy to announce that the latest issue of the postgraduate online journal, JOFIS, edited by Dr Claudia Luppino, is now available on the Arrow digital repository in DIT at the following address:3rd Issue of Journal of Franco-Irish Studies.

The theme of the issue, “Winds of Change in France and Ireland”, is very apt, as you will see as you read through the various essays. The contributors come from a wide range of countries and institutions, including New Zealand (University of Otago); France (Rennes 2 and Lille 3); Ireland (Mary Immaculate College Limerick and NUI Galway); Northern Ireland (Queen’s University Belfast); USA (Indiana University of South Bend); England (University of Sunderland); Oman (Rustaq University); Jordan (Yarmouk University) and of course Italy (University of Florence), where our energetic editor did her doctoral studies.

We are most grateful to Yvonne Desmond and her diligent staff at Arrow for hosting the journal.

By the way, the two previous issues of Jofis, edited by Dr Jean-Christophe Penet and Dr Lauren Clark, will soon be hosted by Arrow also.

Sincere thanks to all involved in what is a highly significant contribution to Franco-Irish scholarship.

Bien cordialement à vous,

Eamon
