[private]IASIL member Kelly Matthews is pleased to announce that her online searchable index of The Bell magazine is now available via the Framingham State University Digital Commons website: http://digitalcommons.framingham.edu/bell_index/

The Bell Index allows users to find citations for articles, essays, poems, stories and reviews within the print run of The Bell (1940-1954), indexed by subject, author, title, genre, date of publication, and geographic origin of author or topic.

The index is a companion project to Dr. Matthews’ book, The Bell Magazine and the Representation of Irish Identity, published by Four Courts Press in 2012.
