Walter Macken, Novelist Richard Murphy, Poet Thomas Kilroy, Novelist, Playwright, and former Professor of English, NUI Galway. Rita Kelly, Poet Rita Ann Higgins, Poet Patricia Burke Brogan, Dramatist. Gerard Donovan, Poet and Author of the novel Schopenhauer's Telescope.
