The International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures

IASIL Associations News - Reports 2004/2005

A note from the Bibliography Committee...

It's that time of year when representatives from around the world on the Bibliography Committee are compiling their returns on books, articles etc by and about Irish writers published in their country in 2003. They're doing a great job, I'm sure (!) but I know from experience how difficult it is to find items not published in Irish Studies' periodicals or literary periodicals or journals on cultural studies and the like.

So I've you've published an article on an Irish writer or more generally on Irish literature, language and culture in a journal that may not normally publish such matters, please let the representative in your country know (see the last IUR for details), or email the details to me within the next two weeks.

If you live in a country without a representative, you might also like to send me details of any items (articles, books) on Irish writers etc you published last year. That way you can be sure that they will appear in the Autumn/Winter edition of the IUR.

If you need any further information, please contact me.

Regards to everyone,

Frank
