PhD Fellowship in Gothic Literature: University of Limerick

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at UL is offering a PhD fellowship in any area of Gothic or Irish Gothic literature, working under the supervision of Dr. Tina Morin. The Sheridan Le Fanu PhD fellowship is a one-year fellowship, including EU level PhD fees (€4,321) plus a monthly stipend of €1,000. The successful applicant will be expected to apply for Irish Research Council postgraduate funding over the course of the year and will also be required to provide up to five hours of teaching per week. Non-EU students are eligible to apply but, if successful, will be responsible for the shortfall between non-EU fees and EU fees. The fellowship is kindly sponsored by the University’s Athena SWAN Steering Committee.
