About submitting material to the iasil online newsletter...

If you are a Member of IASIL, and wish to publicise conferences, paper calls, new Irish Studies posts, new publications, etc. simply send an email to webmaster@iasil.org including all of the information you wish to send.

This newsletter is prepared from material submitted for inclusion. It is not a professional publication and, as such, does not and cannot aim to be a comprehensive account of all Irish literary activity. If you are concerned about an omission - or a perceived omission - the best way to address this is by forwarding the material for inclusion on the site to webmaster@iasil.org

This newsletter is intended to provide an information service to IASIL Members, while providing them with an opportunity to publicise their activities. We cannot guarantee publication of announcements from individuals who are not members of IASIL, but please do contact the webmaster if you would like to make a submission, and we will try to accommodate all reasonable and relevant requests.

As IASIL concerns itself with Irish literatures, material on that subject is prioritised throughout the site. In general, it will not be possible to provide information about events, products, or publications about Ireland that do not have an explicit literary element. In particular, material geared towards the tourist or heritage industries will not be included unless there is an explicit literary and scholarly link; likewise, information about websites or publishers offering opportunitities for publication of creative works will not be featured.

IASIL reserves the right to copyedit or cut any submitted material, and to refuse publication of material deemed irrelevant or in breach of copyright laws.
