| M.A. in Drama and Performance Studies/M.A. in Irish Theatre and Culture, Queen’s University Belfast The MA in Drama and Performance Studies explores changing concepts of drama and performance and examines a range of contemporary theatre practices. It combines contextual study with practical assessment and aims to create links between Northern Irish and international theatre practice in the areas of theatre and conflict, applied theatre and site-specific performance. This M.A. can be combined with a series of Interdisciplinary Arts modules offered by the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in the Creative and Performing Arts at Queen’s. See http://www.qub.ac.uk/cecpa/ The MA in Irish Theatre and Culture offers a comprehensive engagement with Irish Theatre from the late 19th Century, across the 20th Century and into the 21st Century. The MA will incorporate guest lectures by leading Irish playwrights, practitioners and scholars. Recent guest speakers include Marina Carr, Conal Morrison, Christopher Murray, Lionel Pilkington and Anthony Roche.
