IASIL Associations News - Reports 2004/2005

Note from Secretary

A happy new year to all of you! This year has been a busy one, probably for all of us. On behalf of IASIL, and with your help, I have updated our database. Names, addresses and emails have been updated and checked with members. Our updated materials and our listserv has helped keep our membership connected and appraised of emerging news, such as conferences and publications. I am happy to report that our listserv membership now stands at over 500 members, with only two members asking to be removed from the list. Such a request usually follows emails not meant for the entire list or multiple sendings (translate, user-error). However, these are few and far between; our members use the list efficiently and effectively. In fact, I continue to receive notes thanking us for keeping in such good touch with our international colleagues and friends.

I look forward to seeing many of you in Prague and to keeping in contact with all of you. Please do let me know when there is news to report on your behalf.

All the best,
Dawn Duncan
