IASIL Registration
Before registering for IASIL 2005, all delegates were requested to
read the following.
The

The registration fee covers all conference materials, attendance
at plenary lectures, parallel sessions, conference receptions and
evening events. It also includes all coffee breaks and a fully catered
boat cruise. The closing banquet and the optional post-conference
tour are subject to an additional charge.
The
Registration Process and Payment for Registration
At the bottom of this page, you will find an online registration
form (NO LONGER ACTIVE). Please complete it according to the instructions
provided, stating your preferences regarding accommodation. After
the data has been transferred, you will receive an automatic confirmation
of the fact.
The conference agency Congress Business Travel, Ltd. (CBT) will
get back to you within seven working days by e-mail with a finalised
order which you will be asked to confirm.
Payment will be accepted by credit card or international bank transfer.
Your registration will be processed when your payment has been approved.
You will then receive an e-mail confirming your registration.
Paying
by Credit Card
All major credit cards will be accepted. When opening the
registration form, you will enter a safe mode which minimises the
risk of the misuse of data. However, delegates should note that they
use this registration method at their own risk. IASIL, the organisers
of the 2005 IASIL Conference, and the CBT agency cannot accept responsibility
for any difficulties arising from your use of this method. Alternately,
you may choose to send your credit card details to the CBT agency
by fax (+420 224 942 550), stating this in the Additional Information
box of the registration form.
If you are paying by credit card, a fee of 2.9% (or 3.5% for American
Express) will be applied automatically to your payment. This will
be added to your total when we receive your form. These fees are used
to cover the administration process; IASIL, the 2005 IASIL Conference
Organisers, and the CBT agency will not receive any part whatsoever
of this administration fee.
If you enter an incorrect credit card number, or if your credit
card is not authorised for some other reason, the registration process
will be cancelled automatically.
Payment

ALL BANK FEES must be covered BY REMITTER. Kindly indicate your name
and event number 515 as the purpose of payment. A copy of the transfer
must be faxed or posted within a week of confirmation of your order
to Ms Ivana Pirklová at the CBT address below.
Receipts
Receipts will be issued to all delegates during the conference.
Verification
of your Registration
An e-mail verification will be sent to you to confirm your
registration order. Please do not assume that your registration has
been processed until you receive official confirmation from the CBT
Agency or the IASIL 2005 Organising Committee. Evidence that your
payment was processed by your credit card company should not be regarded
as confirmation of registration. Automated e-mail messages confirming
delivery do not constitute evidence of receipt.
Transferral
of Registration
Registration is not transferable. Delegates may not nominate
a substitute to read their paper.
Registration
Period
Registration commences on 1 March and closes on 31 May.
Proof of payment must be received on or before 15 June.
Letters of Invitation
Letters of invitation will be issued upon request to speakers at
IASIL 2005. If you require a letter of invitation, please contact
the Organising Committee at conference@iasil.org. As of 1 March 2005,
all accepted speakers will have been chosen, and no additions are
being made. If your name is not on this list of speakers, you will
not receive a letter of invitation.
All delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements
with regard to VISAS to enter the Czech Republic. If in doubt please
consult the Czech embassy/consulate in your area.
Student
Registration
Student registration should be accompanied by proof of
student status. Such proof might include a letter from your university
printed on official notepaper, or a photocopy of your student identification
card, with expiry date clearly visible. These should be clearly marked
IASIL 2005 and sent by fax (+420 224 942 550) or post to Congress
Business Travel Ltd., Lidická 43/66, 150 00 Praha 5, Czech
Republic, before 31 May 2005.
Delegates
Who Are Not Presenting Papers
A special reduced rate is available for delegates who wish
to participate in the conference but are not delivering papers. Such
delegates may attend IASIL 2005 for a reduced fee of 140 (paid before
1 May 2005) or 160 (paid on or after 1 May 2005).

Guests
To facilitate delegates travelling with family-members
and/or partners, a special reduced rate will be made available for
their guests. Delegates may bring guests to IASIL 2005 for a reduced
fee of 140 (paid before 1 May 2005) or 160 (paid on or after 1
May 2005). Guests may attend plenary lectures, parallel sessions and
all conference events, but may not deliver papers. Please enter your
guests name on the registration form.
IASIL
Membership
Anyone accepted to speak at IASIL 2005 must have his or
her membership confirmed by 31 May 2005.
Only current IASIL members will be permitted to speak at the conference.
Non-members will be removed from the list of speakers after 31 May
2005. If you need to join or rejoin, please download
a membership form.
If you need to confirm your membership, please consult the IASIL
Treasurer (see below).
Administration of IASILs membership is carried out by the Association,
and not by the conference organisers. Please do not send membership
applications to the conference organisers, as we cannot process them.
Instead, you should send them to the Treasurer named on the membership
form.
Cancellations
and Refunds
The conference organizers reserve the right to cancel delegates
registration, but will do so only under exceptional circumstances.
Any delegate who cancels on or before 15 June 2005 will receive
a 65% refund of their conference fee. For refunds of accommodation
fees see the Accommodation section below.
Refunds will be made by credit card or international bank transfer,
and will be made after the conference, in August 2005.
The IASIL 2005 Conference Organising Committee regrets that it will
not be possible to provide refunds to any person who cancels on or
after 16 June 2005.
Accommodation
Accommodation of conference delegates is being provided
through the conference agency Congress Business Travel Ltd. (CBT).
We would like to recommend that you reserve your accommodation well
in advance as most Prague hotels are fully booked in high season.
Accommodation requests will be handled on a first come first served
basis.
A variety of hotels will be available for the conference participants,
from the deluxe category to economy hostels. All hotels are located
within easy reach, most of them within walking distance from the conference
venue. Non-smoking rooms and special rooms for guests with disabilities
may be booked on request. A full list of available hotels is included
in the registration form below.
After you have sent a completed registration form stating your accommodation
preferences, CBT will get back to you within seven working days by
e-mail with a finalised order which you will be asked to confirm.
Cancellations, Changes and Refunds of Accommodation
CBT must be notified in writing (by e-mail, fax or post) of any
change or cancellation of your hotel reservation. Please do not contact
the hotel directly in case of any changes or cancellations. The appropriate
refunds will be made after the Conference by credit card or international
bank transfer.
The following cancellation conditions apply both to a total cancellation
of a hotel reservation and a shortening of the confirmed stay:
from the day of confirmation till 15 May 2005 full refund minus
an administration fee of 25
16 May 15 June 2005 cancellation fee 30% from the total confirmed
price
16 June 10 July 2005 cancellation fee 50% from the total confirmed
price
from 11 July 2005 no refund.
