CONFERENCE TOURS:

As advised at IASIL Prague there will be a pre and a post conference tour. You may take both if you wish. However, places for both tours are strictly limited. There is a maximum of 30 for the pre-conference tour and a maximum of 20 for the post-conference tour. The date and time of full payment via the on-line Conference booking form (available mid-April) will be used to determine the bookings for both tours. The earlier you pay the more likely it is that you will be able to take the tour.

The pre conference tour is designed to introduce you to the ‘Australia’ that is within three days of Sydney—The Blue Mountains; the National Capital, Canberra; and the picturesque South Coast. It will leave the AGSM on Monday 17 July at 9.00am sharp and return to the AGSM on Wednesday 19 July at 17.30 under the direction of Colourful Trips. The cost is: $585 Please remember 30 places only

Monday 17 July — Blue Mountains.

Featherdale Wildlife Park
BBQ lunch in the mountains
Senic Railway and Rainforest Walk
Govetts Leap Lookout, Blackheath

Tuesday 18 July — Canberra

Tour of Parliament House
Visit to Capital Exhibition Centre and picnic lunch
Visit to the National Museum of Australia
Visit to the Australian War Memorial including closing ceremony
Visit to the Kamberra Wine Complex for wine tasting
Free evening

Wednesday 19 July

Moreton National Park and Fitzroy Falls
Aboriginal bush tucker and bush medicine interpretation
Bush tucker lunch including crocodile, emu and kangaroo
Village of Berry for refreshment stop
Seven Mile Beach National Park
Nan Tien Temple

The price of $585 includes:

Blue Mountains day tour including entry to Featherdale Wildlife Park and bushwalks
Canberra day tour including all entries and tours
South Coast day tour including Aboriginal interpretative bushwalk, national parks and Temple
All meals except second night in Canberra
Modern mini coach transport with driver/guide
Two nights 4 star accommodation in Canberra with hot breakfast.

The post-conference tour is a three day trip flying Jetstar from Sydney to Cairns and then travelling to Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland with a full day on the outer reef of the Great Barrier Reef. This is a Colourful Trips and UNSW IASIL Conference initiative. The cost is $1075 Please remember 20 places only
